Is the IM shelf score recheck worth it? I didn’t pass it by one point and I don’t know what my odds are of that number changing. Please let me know what you all think and if there is anyone with the same experience!

In reply to Aaron. I believe so, as your overall score trajectory can give you a sense of improvement (albeit not with a specific score). The Step 2 CK NBMEs are not particularly reliable or valid, and there aren't many, so having more data points is helpful.

Is it worth going back and doing specific shelf exams that you never did if you are studying for CK?
I figure the CCSSA exams are a must

Since there is a deficit of 80 questions between the NBMEs and the real exam, do you recommend doing an additional 2 blocks of 40 questions after completing the NBME in order to better simulate the exam and improve our stamina for exam day? If yes, should we pull questions from UWorld, Kaplan, or elsewhere? Thanks so much! Your blog has been immensely helpful.

Do you think the questions on the NBMEs are high-yield for the actual exam? I am not sure if expending a considerable amount of time in reviewing the questions is a good idea. Thanks

Is there any thing I can do to prepare for step 1 / medical school before matriculating in august? Most people say to relax over the summer prior to medical school, but I’m sure theres something I could do to better prepare. If nothing, are there any tips you’d recommend for my first year of medical school? Thank you!
