Hi Olu,

It sounds like you’re having trouble with timing on our blocks. Here are my thoughts on the subject:

Hope this helps!

Hope all is well with you. First, I’d like to let you know that your step 1 anki deck helped very much with step1. I am now studying for step 2Ck and also using your step 2 deck. However, I have a challenge with questions and I’d really appreciate if you could give some advice.
I often run of time when doing questions. For example, every time I do a block of 40 questions, I find myself having to guess on the last 3 questions. When I do questions I find myself trying so hard to read fast that I don’t even get the chance to think about what I’m reading. The vignettes on uworld step 2ck are so long that I sometimes wonder whether if this is a speed reading test or clinical knowledge test. I’ve tried methods like “minimizing subvocalizing”, “chunking words” e.t.c but I’m not sure they work. At the end of the day, speed without comprehension is useless.
I purchased your anki decks but I cant afford your online course at this time. I’d love to and im saving towards it but I’d really appreciate if you could offer some advice. Thank you
